Our criteria for
admission to the school comply with UAE
National Legislation, KHDA/MoE guidelines
and the vision of Star Education and are
consistent with general trends in terms
of being fair to all applicants. Applicants should:
1.Manifest abilities
matching the standards of the school.
2.Show personal qualities that would
contribute to the school community.
3.Benefit from many opportunities
offered at the school.
Age
According to the MoE, an applicant's age
is taken on September 1 for
consideration to a Year Group;
exceptions may be made to this
criterion, if parents apply to the MoE
personally. The appropriate ages for Year
Groups can be seen on the 'Academic
Level' section at the top of the
Application form. As important as the age
is the applicant's maturity and suitable
academic standard.
Academic
1.Attaining pass in all elements of the
Entrance Assessment.
2.A positive recommendation from the
Head of the previous school.
3.A satisfactory interview with the
concerned officer(Teacher, Registrar, Head
of year)
4.An academically promising report from
the previous school.
General:
1.Applicant should enjoy satisfactory good
health.
2.The previous school report should show
satisfactory attitude and general
conduct on the part of both parents and
applicant.
3.Fees should have been paid in full at the
previous school.
4.Applicant has sibling registered at
the school with satisfactory records.
5.Race,Nationality,ethinicity,language,religion
and physical appearance are NOT taken
into account.
